Four bettors bagged P149, 000 each after getting five digits of the winning combination of Grand Lotto 6/55 during Wednesday night’s (February 26), a digit short from winning the P54.6-million jackpot, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.
The agency said the winning combination was 51 – 37 – 52 – 39 – 38 – 28. It had a total jackpot of P54, 605, 418. 60.
The consolation prize winners of Grand Lotto will each get P149, 170. Their winnings will be subjected to 20 percent tax, because of the TRAIN Law.
Meantime, the agency said that the Mega Lotto 6/45, which had a total jackpot of P63, 559, 738. 20, also yielded no winner. Its winning combination was 11 – 12 – 05 – 24 – 30 – 06.
According to PCSO, Mega Lotto has 94 consolation prize winners who will get P10, 080 each.
To claim their consolation prizes, the bettors must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City, and present two IDs so they could get a cheque. They should also bring their tickets.
Royina Garma, PCSO general manager, urged the public to continue patronizing the products of the agency, saying people in dire need of help will surely benefit from the agency’s charity programs.
All lotto draws are being aired live every 9 p.m. at PTV 4. Lotto 6/42 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; Super Lotto 6/49 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday; Mega Lotto 6/45 is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Grand Lotto 6/55 draw is every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; and Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw is every Tuesday Friday and Sunday.
