Four bettors won P280, 000 each after getting five digits of the winning combination of Ultra Lotto 6/58, a digit short from winning the whopping P210-million jackpot.
This was announced by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) an hour after Tuesday night’s draw (February 18).
Ultra Lotto’s winning combination was 47-23 -31-56 -42 -01.
It had a total jackpot of P210, 804, 098. PCSO said nobody was lucky enough to get all the six digits of the winning combination.
The four consolation prize winners won P280, 000 each. Yet, 20 percent tax will be automatically deducted from their winnings, because of the TRAIN Law.
On the other hand, nobody was also lucky enough to bag the P15.8-million jackpot of Super Lotto 6/49. Its winning combination was 06 -24 -38 -18 -17 -01.
PCSO said there were nine consolation prize winners during Tuesday night’s Super Lotto draw. Each of them will take home P53, 600.
To claim their consolation prizes, the bettors must go to PCSO’s main office in Madaluyong City, and present two IDs so they could get their checks. They should also bring their tickets with them.
Royina Marzan-Garma, PCSO general manager, called on the public to keep on patronizing the products of the agency, saying people in dire need of help will surely benefit from PCSO’s charity programs.
“Please always patronize our products. Many people rely on PCSO. Whenever you buy our tickets, think of it as giving to charity with a chance of becoming a millionaire,” she said.
