Motorists were advised by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to take alternate routes because various roads will be impassable as they undergo reblocking and repairs starting 11 p.m. of Jan. 29 and Jan. 31.

According to the agency, major repairs will be done to the C5 Ortigas Flyover from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. during weekdays of Jan. 31 to July 28.

The northbound lane of EDSA, near corner Taft Ave., Pasay City, will be used for the deliveries of materials and concrete pouring on Jan. 29 to Feb. 4 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., MMDA said.

Meantime, the agency said the dismantling of an existing steel safety canopy will be done along EDSA southbound in front of AMA Towers Residences Building in Mandaluyong City. It will be executed from Jan. 29 to Feb. 4 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Oroquieta Street in Sampaloc, Manila will be rehabilitated, and its drainage repaired. MMDA said work on this will start at 11 p.m. on all Fridays from Jan. 31 to Oct. 26, adding it will be passable again by 5 a.m. on Mondays.

MMDA said R. Magsaysay Blvd. and R. Magsaysay Service Road, including their drainages, will be rehabilitated from 11 p.m. on all Fridays of Jan. 29 to June 26. It will open to vehicular traffic by 5 a.m. on Mondays.
