Wong Chu King Foundation donates relief goods to Batangas evacuees

Showing love, support, and compassion for the victims of the recent Taal Volcano eruption in Batangas, the Wong Chu King Foundation, Inc. has extended assistance to them through the distribution of goods and bottled water.

The Wong Chu King Foundation, Inc., represented by P/BGen. Francisco R. Cristobal Jr. (Ret.) and                     P/MGen. Melito M. Mabilin (Ret.), staff, and volunteers donated canned goods, noodles, biscuits, and bottled water to the evacuees from Barangay Simlong and Barangay Cuta on Jan. 17 at the Carmel School of Batangas compound owned by Emma and Edwin Villena.

The donations were accepted by the representatives of each barangay — Councilor Wenni Caraig of Barangay Simlong, and Barangay Cuta Chairman Ramil Saceda, together with the Blade Motorcycle Riders.

The Foundation likewise gave canned goods, noodles, biscuits, and bottled water to the relief and rescue operation center of Batangas City LGU, received by the staff of the City Social Welfare and Development Office.
