Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas on Sunday announced that classes in the entire province of Batangas are still suspended as schools continue to be used as evacuation centers.

Meanwhile, the provincial government earlier announced that classes would resume in colleges and universities outside the 14-kilometer danger zone.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) lowered on Sunday the alert status to Level 3 due to a noticeable decrease in its activities in the past few days.
