Student nabbed in Paranaque buy-bust
A student was arrested by a combined team of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Paranaque City police during a buy-bust operation and confiscated from him were about 26 grams of marijuana kush amounting to P31, 200.
The name of the suspect, which is 17-years-old, was withheld and is a grade 12 student and resident of Barangay San Marcelo Green, Paranaque City.
The police said that the suspect was arrested at about 1:00 a.m. yesterday along Peach St., Barangay Marcelo Green, Paranaque City.
The police said that members of the PDEA coordinated with them for the arrest of the suspect which was listed with them engaged in the selling of marijuana kush.
Confiscated from the suspect were 12 pieces of small transparent plastic zip lock containing marijuana kush which is about 26 grams and amounting to P31,200.
The confiscated items were brought at the Southern Police District Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
The suspect who is now facing violation of Sec. 5 and 11 of Art II of RA 9165 is now currently detained at the Bahay Pagasa in Paranaque City. (Jean Fernando)
Shabu, firearms, and explosive materials confiscated in QC raid
Police operatives nabbed on Wednesday four suspected drug personalities and seized 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000, a 38 caliber and 45 caliber handgun, several ammunitions and explosive materials during a buy-bust operation.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Police Brig. Gen. Ronnie Montejo identified the suspects as Michael Meneses, 38, of Caloocan City; Marineil Santos, 35; Angel Retiro, 18, both of Malabon City and Von Edgar Barrientos, 27, of Pandacan Manila.
The operation was carried out at around 2:30 a.m. by the team from the Novaliches Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) which was headed by Police Lt. Col.Hector Amancia in front of the Shell Gas Station along Susano road in Novaliches.
An undercover agent who served as the buyer made a signal of the completed drug transaction prompting the other police officers to pounce on the four suspects.
The four suspects are now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and violation of RA 10591 o Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. (Chito Chavez)
Man included in Masambong police’s top 7 drug personality list arrested
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Police Brigadier General Ronnie S Montejo said on Wednesday a notorious drug suspect which is included in the top 7 drug personality at the Masambong Police Station (PS 2) and his cohort were arrested where
some P442,000.00 worth of shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation Tuesday night.
The suspects were identified as Robert Medina, 34, and his companion Dexter Osit, also 34, both of Ermita Manila.
Police Station 2 Commander Lt. Col. Rodrigo Soriano said Medina is the No. 7 drug personality at the station level and is also included in the Directorate for Intelligence (DI) drug watch list.
Osit, on the other hand, is a newly identified drug personality.
The report showed that at about 10:50 p.m., on January 14, 2020, a buy-bust operation was conducted at No. 698 Mercedez St. corner Sylvia St., Brgy. 663, Zone 71, Ermita Manila.
An undercover operative acted as a buyer and bought P15,000.00 worth of shabu from the suspects which resulted in their arrest.
The police confiscated 65 grams of shabu, buy-bust money, digital weighing scale and a cellular phone used in their drug deal.
Meanwhile, other police stations arrested eight other drug suspects including two siblings, one of whom was a senior citizen.
Operatives of the Fairview Police Station (PS 5) under Police Lt. Col. Jeffrey Bilaro arrested siblings William Gose, 57, and Rodolfo Gose, 68, both of Barangay Pasong Putik.
During the buy-bust operation, the raiding team seized three sachets of shabu worth P1,768.00, buy-bust money, and a cellular phone.
Both were included in the drug watch list of Barangay Pasong Putik.
Also Talipapa Police Station (PS 3) under Police Lt. Col. Benjamin Gabriel Jr. arrested in a buy-bust operation James Sevilla, 32, of Barangay Ramon Magsaysay and Richard Ignacio, 29, of Barangay Bahay Toro at about 8:00 p.m. last Tuesday at Nueva Ecija Extension, Bagong Bantay, Brgy. Ramon Magsaysay.
The police team seized some 10 grams of shabu worth P 68,000, buy-bust money and a cellular phone from the suspects.
Operatives of the Cubao Police Station (PS 7) under Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Police Major Fortunato Ecle Jr. arrested Eleanor Cruz, 55, of Malanday Marikina City during a buy-bust operation at about 4:15 p.m. last Tuesday at P. Tuazon corner 12th Ave. Brgy. Socorro in Cubao.
The police team confiscated one gram of shabu worth P9,000 value and the buy-bust money.
The team from the Anonas Police Station (PS 9) under Police Lt. Col. Lucio Simangan Jr arrested Jovel Tarubal, 30, Agosto Mateo, 41, and Julie Ann Flores, 29, from Barangay Pansol at about 12:00 midnight last Tuesday during an operation at Block 2-B Kaingin 1, Brgy. Pansol.
Seized from them were three grams of shabu worth P20,400.00 and the buy-bust money.
At the Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) under Police Lt. Col. Louise Benjie Tremor Paolo Alvero, 40, of Barangay Holy Spirit at as nabbed at around 9:30 p.m. last Tuesday during a buy-bust operation along Kamuning Road Barangay Kamuning.
During the said operation, the team confiscated one gram of shabu worth P6,800, buy-bust money, and a cellular phone.
Montejo said cases of violation of RA 9165 also known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects. (Chito Chavez)
P680,000 worth of shabu seized in QC buy-bust
Police operatives apprehended on Wednesday a suspected big-time drug pusher and seized P680,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Police Brig. General Ronnie Montejo identified the suspect as Ahmad Tabong Noah, 40, a resident of Doña Nicasia St Barangay Batasan and a native of Kidalap Talitay, Maguindanao.
Initial reports of the QCPD Masambong Police Station 2 revealed that the suspect was arrested at around 2:00 p.m. at the parking lot of Ever Gotesco Mall along Commonwealth Avenue.
The “drug operation’’ was a result of a follow-up operation where one alias “Pikang’’ was nabbed in Ermita Manila last Tuesday and Sherwin dela Cruz alyas ‘Itik’ were nabbed on January 6, 2020.
The police confiscated 100 grams of shabu and boodle money worth P10,000 used in the buy-bust operation.
Noah is now languishing at the Masambong Police Station 2 jail as charges for violation sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 or Dangerous Drugs Act are being readied against the suspect. (Chito Chavez)
