Papal Nuncio Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia will lead the concelebrated holy mass in Puerto Princesa, Palawan’s “Bugsayan,” a huge gathering of Catholics in Palawan.
Vicariate of Puerto Princesa Bishop Socrates Mesiona, who will co-celebrate the mass with the clergy of the vicariate, is inviting the faithful of Palawan to attend the Eucharistic celebration on November 30 at 11 a.m. at the Puerto Princesa City Coliseum.
“Let us show the Nuncio the warmth of our Catholic faith here in the Vicariate,” Mesiona said.
“Bugsayan” is an annual big event in Puerto Princesa and Southern Palawan since 2014. It is usually attended by thousands of faithful from the 32 parishes in the vicariate.
This year’s theme is “Grateful for the Faith: We receive. We celebrate. We live. We Proclaim.”
