A gargantuan replica of Godzilla will be the main attraction at an anime theme park in Japan next year.
The ride “Godzilla Interception Operation” will host several activities called “missions”, including a zip line, a shooting game, and a souvenir shop.
Nijigen no Mori theme park is located on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture.
According to the park’s website, it was Godzilla’s native land.
“The legendary figure of Godzilla was first confirmed at the beginning of the Meiji era when a typhoon hit Awaji Island. Godzilla, who appeared with the high waves, roamed the island, causing tremendous damage,” it said.
The park also features anime-themed rides and exhibits.
Meanwhile, the latest Godzilla flick “Godzilla vs. Kong” is set to premiere in March 13, 2020. The film will star Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler.
