Manila Police District (MPD) Chief Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. identified them as Bradford Solis, 41, helper, resident of Camiling, Tarlac; Juanito de Luna, 54, farmer, resident of Camiling Tarlac ; Junel Gomez, 36, driver, resident of San Jose, Biñan, Laguna and  Rigor Dela Cruz, 38, driver, resident of Camiling, Tarlac.

Danao said they were “positively identified by at least eight witnesses” coming from the place of incident.

“We are 101% sure na etong hawak natin ay ang mga suspects,” he said.

During a press briefing on Thursday, Lalaine Yuson, wife of the slain vice mayor claimed that she received a tip that one of the suspects was part of the Masbate police.

She also asserted that one of the apprehended suspects was PCSO board member Sandra Cam’s former driver.

However, Danao said they are still verifying if among the arrested suspects were policemen.

Danao said the suspects will be subjected for inquest proceedings for charges of murder. They were arrested in a drag net operation after the van they used in the killing was tracked down by police operatives on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Lalaine said she went straight to Ermita Police Station upon arrival from Masbate to see the alleged suspects involved in her husband’s shooting.

“Okay na po ako. Actually, hindi ko pa nakikita ang bangkay ng asawa ko, pinrioritize ko ‘to , kampante na ako,” Lalaine said.

On Wednesday, Masbate Vice Mayor Charlie Yuson III was killed while his two companions were wounded after three unidentified men shot them while they were eating their breakfast in front of a house along VG Cruz Street, Sampaloc, Manila.
