A suspected drug personality was killed while his cohort was arrested after allegedly exchanging fire with police in a buy bust operation in Navotas City Sunday morning.

Police identified the slain suspect as Edmundo Sedonio, 25, and his cohort as Allan Tremotcha, 47, both residents of the city.

Investigation showed that members of Navotas police anti-narcotics unit conducted a drug sting against the two at Market 3 of Navotas Fish Port Complex in Barangay North Bay Boulevard North (NBBN) around 12:40 a.m.
