A graduate of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) has topped this year’s licensure examination for veterinary medicine administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Ian Cary Prado, who earned the first spot, had a rating of 85.46%. Coincidentally, the results were released on the day of Prado’s birthday, August 19.
Prado led the 516 passers out of the 1,057 examinees who took the examination in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, and Tuguegarao.
Three other UPLB graduates landed on the Top 10 while graduates of the Central Mindanao State University and Central Bicol State University of Agriculture earned the 2nd and 3rd spots, respectively.
