As much as 20,000 households in Quezon City are expected to experience low to no water service pressure for three consecutive nights as Manila Water Company, Inc. undertakes power supply transfer activities.
“Manila Water will undertake power supply transfer activities at its Luzon Water Treatment Plant which will result in low pressure to no water service affecting over 20,000 households, commercial and business establishments in three barangays in Quezon City for three consecutive nights,” the company said in a statement.
The service interruption will start today, August 13, and will last until 6 a.m. tomorrow. This will be followed by another interruption tomorrow night (August 14), from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.; and on Thursday night (August 15), from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The affected barangays are Holy Spirit, Pasong Tamo, and Sauyo.
Manila Water is advising residents of the said barangays to store enough water to supply their needs only during the interruption schedules.
