The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced Saturday that the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) east of Virac, Catanduanes has developed into a Tropical Depression (TD) and is now named “Hanna.”
The weather bureau stated that TD Hanna will bring moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds will be experienced in the provinces of Romblon and Marinduque.
A thunderstorm is more likely to develop over Metro Manila within 12 hours, PAGASA added.
TD Hanna is less likely to make landfall on any part of the country.
