Paulo Alinsog fulfilled his departed mother’s wish by bringing a standee of her on his graduation last June 16.

Paulo Alinsog shared in his Twitter post his gratitude on how he fulfilled his mother’s wish.

“Sa pinaka magandang kong nanay! Ma, graduate na panganay mo sana happy ka dyan sa piling ni God. Ito ang gusto mo kaya tinapos ko. Mahal na mahal kita,” Alinsog said on his twitter post.

His photo has garnered 4,650 retweets and 46,900 likes as of this writing.

Many netizens congratulated Alinsog for fulfilling his mother’s wish and commended his dedication as a student.

Alinsog finished a Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Lyceum of the Philippines University of Manila.

He wanted to offer his success to his late mother and shared how thankful he is for having her.

“Dinededicate ko po tong first step ko for my success unang una sa nanay ko. Nag papasalamat ako kay God dahil binigayan niya ako ng mama na katulad ng mama ko na never ako pinabayaan at mahal na mahal ako,” Alinsog told Manila Bulletin Online.

His mother passed away last 2016 when he was a sophomore, leaving him and his two siblings.

Luckily, his aunts and step-father supported and helped them in their education expenses.

Alinsog shared that he brought the standee to commemorate his mother who provided for him in many years.

“Isa lang ang gusto niya makapag tapos ako kaya tinapos ko hindi naman ako mapapasama sa gusto niya kaya ginawa ko,” he said.

Alinsog said he would like to be a travel blogger and plans to travel abroad.
