A lady from Midgeville, Georgia got a “birthday surprise” after she received a marijuana-themed celebratory cake, instead of a “Moana” decorated one.

Kensli Davis shared on Facebook that her mother ordered a “Moana” themed cake for her 25th birthday from a local bakery because she loves the Disney character; however, the bakery misheard the request.

“I haven’t had a chance to tell y’all about our experience this weekend with my birthday cake. So my mama called and ordered me a cake telling them how much I loved Moana. (Because really I do),” she captioned the photo of her marijuana cake.

“Well needless to say these people thought she said marijuana,” she added.

Davis said she still enjoyed her ice cream cake despite it not being Moana-themed.

“That ice cream cake was still good though,” she said.

The 25-year-old, meanwhile, told CNN that her mom laughed “hysterically” upon seeing the cake.

“The whole family thought it was the funniest thing ever and said it would definitely [be] a birthday to remember,” she said.

Davis said the person from the bakery who took her mom’s order apologized for the confusion and offered to make another cake.

“The first one was so good we weren’t worried about it,” Davis said.

The baker, Cassandra Walker, didn’t find the mix-up funny after she was fired from work.

Walker told USA Today that it was her manager who misheard the request.

“It’s not funny to me…This is back-to-school time. I have two little girls here. I have a car that needs fixing. It’s not funny to me,” Walker told USA Today.

“[My manager] walked by as I decorated the cake. As I boxed the cake up, she was the one who walked it up to the front,” Walker added.

As of posting, Davis’ Facebook post has been shared more than 14,000 times.
