41 of 75 examinees passed in the July 2019 Landscape Architect Licensure Examination, the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday.
Only four schools took the examination namely Bulacan State University (BulSU) in Malolos, University of San Agustin, University of San Carlos (USC), and University of the Philippines (UP) in Diliman The examination yielded an overall 54.67% passing rate.
Out of the 20 UP graduates, 19 aced the exam, including 16 first-time takers. UP recorded a 95% passing rate. Only one repeater failed the test.
A lone first-time taker from San Agustin gave its school a 100% passing rate.
BulSU tallied a 40.82 passing rate while USC had 20%.
The members of the Board of Landscape Architecture who administered the licensure examination in Manila were Chairman Paulo G. Alcazaren and Cecilia H. Tence.
Passers of the licensure examination can register online for their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration starting July 31
