PAGASA issues rainfall warning in Pangasinan

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the province of Pangasinan will experience moderate to heavy rains Tuesday.

The weather bureau issued rainfall advisory nos. 1 and 2 for the towns of Agno, Burgos, Dasol, Mabini, Bani, Mangatarem, Aguilar, and Urbiztondo at 8 a.m.

According to PAGASA, moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds affecting towns of Agno, Burgos and Dasol may persist for one to two hours.

Moderate to heavy rains are expected in Mabini, Bani, Mangatarem, Aguilar, and Urbiztondo which may also persist hours. Nearby areas may also be affected.

“Residents of mountain slopes are advised of possible landslides mudslides, rock slides, and flash floods.” the advisory said.

PAGASA has also advised the public to take precautionary measures to prepare for the impact of the storm.
