A magnitude 5.0 earthquake rocked Southern Leyte at dawn Sunday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported.
The temblor hit Limasawa, Southern Leyte at 3:06 AM.
The earthquake was felt at intensity III in Argao City, Cebu and Mambajao, Camiguin and Intensity II in Palo, Leyte.
There were no immediate reports of damage but aftershocks are expected.
