A rainbow halo was recently photographed over the Angat reservoir on Saturday.
In a photo taken by Gigie Cruz, an “iridescent cloud” appeared over Angat Reservoir during sunset in Bulacan.
Iridescent clouds are caused by small water droplets or water crystals lingering in the air and refracting the sunlight. This type of cloud is rare and less frequently photographed.
The dam is currently at critical level and the declaration of the rainy season is expected to boost the dam’s water levels.
