The Philippines richest man and former Senate President Manny Villar formally opened the newest branches of Villar Group of Companies’ All Home and All Day Supermarket at the Evia Lifestyle Center’s North Wing, the establishment’s newest mall expansion, on Thursday at Daang Hari Road, Las Piñas City.
In a speech during the Supplier’s Appreciation Night on Thursday evening, Villar proudly boasted of the Villar Group’s business developments, citing their applicability in the near future.
“Bakit tayo naiiwan? So sabi ko why don’t we build things that will already take into consideration what the Philippines will be five years from now, ten years from now,” he said.
He said there are currently 22 All Home branches nationwide, with18 more under construction. By 2020, the Villar Group aims to have 40 branches.
In fact, the one-stop-shop builder’s haven All Home in Daang Hari Road, the brand’s 22nd branch, was the first premium superstore of the full-line home center, with central vignette designed by world-renowned Filipino fashion designer Rajo Laurel, which provides new homeowners a unique style to design their homes.
The newly-opened 15th branch of the All Day Supermarket located in the heart of Evia’s North Wing features a wide range of farm-to-table choices, among others, with brighter and more spacious aisles on its interior.
The brand’s very own Gastroville and Paluto, where fresh ingredients are cooked while one shops, were opened on the same day.
Aside from that, the Forbes list’s top Filipino business tycoon also launched the first stand-alone store Bake My Day, which has branches found within or right beside Villar’s own supermarket brand.
The bakery is a home to delicious breads and pastries like its famous sweet potato cake and unique Okonomiyaki bread.
Market Liberty, an experimental venture aiming at helping local entrepreneurs expand their businesses, also opened its second store at Evia.
The store serves as a home to numerous well-loved brands in the country, especially those found online.
“Sabi ni Camille meron siyang bubuksan na tatlo pa, so magiging lima na,” the family’s patriarch added, referring to her daughter’s project.
Meanwhile, he also shared that the well-loved Coffee Project, his own coffee shop brand, will also open its first integrated bookstore cafe at Evia.
He also plans to produce a total of 100 Vista cinemas with advanced iMax features by the end of the year.
