Senator Antonio Trillanes IV brushed aside President Duterte’s latest tirades against him after he was tagged as the mastermind of the so-called “Bikoy” videos.
Duterte, in a speech Thursday, called Trillanes “shameless” for supposedly using his Senate post for his agenda and to “run after people”.
He also accused the opposition lawmaker of using dummies to hide his assets.
Henyo ka talaga, Duts,” he added.
Duterte said the “truth will come” after Peter Joemel Advincula surrendered and tagged Trillanes and members of the Liberal Party (LP) as being behind the release of the “Ang Totoong Narco List” videos.
Advincula, who claimed to be Bikoy, said the opposition hired him to fabricate the allegations in the controversial video series.
Trillanes, however, denied these and bared plans to sue Advincula.
“This could be another ploy of the administration to harass the opposition,” he said in his statement Thursday.
