The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) continues to receive more election returns even after the proclamation of winning candidates.
The poll watchdog group received 55,808 or 65.07 percent of the 85,769 of the election returns as of 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
A total of 32,586 of the received election returns have already been matched with the electronically transmitted election returns, data from the PPCRV showed.
The match rate between the physical and digital election returns is still at 99.98 percent.
Earlier, PPCRV National Chairperson Myla Villanueva said they are still investigating the two election returns that did not match.
In a previous interview, Villanueva said they will continue to receive the fourth copy of the election returns for their parallel count because it is through this process that the public will know whether there was vote padding and shaving during the elections.
The Church-based poll watchdog group hosts 300 volunteers per day at their command center at Pope Pius XII Catholic Center in Manila.
The volunteers manually encode the data on the election returns and compare it with the electronically transmitted returns to ensure that there were no discrepancies in the vote count during the elections. #MatalinongBoto2019
