Like the rest of her family who won in local posts, Taguig Representative Pia Cayetano who is seeking a Senate comeback also topped the senatorial race in Taguig City.
According to the Taguig-Pateros certificate of canvass received by the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), Cayetano received 215,036 votes.
Tailing her at the second spot in the Taguig-Pateros certificate of canvass is fellow Hugpong ng Pagbabago bet Cynthia Villar who got 214,184 votes.
Villar is currently on the top spot based on the canvassed votes of the NBOC as of 11:53 p.m. Wednesday with 10,416,332 votes.
While Cayetano is at fourth place in the national canvassing with 8,417,229 votes.
Her brothers, former Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter and Lino were proclaimed earlier as Taguig City 1st District representative and mayor, respectively.
