Nurses, caregivers wanted in Japan

Japan is offering jobs for at least 50 nurses and 300 caregivers, according to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

To qualify, nurses should be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing with active Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license, and with a minimum of three years hospital work experience.

They must be also be motivated and committed to work and study as candidate for “Kangoshi” to obtain a National License in Japan, POEA said.

Applicant caregivers should be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with or without PRC license), a graduate of four-year course but with TESDA National Certificate II in Care-giving (NC II).

The deadline for applicants at the POEA central office in Mandaluyong City will be on May 17.
