Duty Free unveils new reward program for customers

By Analou De Vera

Duty-Free Philippines (DFP) has launched a new reward program for its customers purchasing confectionery and snack items.

“Customers who have purchased at least $150 worth of confectioneries and snacks, single or accumulated receipts within a day, will be entitled to a Chocolate VIP membership card,” the DFP said.

The privileges include a 10 percent discount on chocolate ‘pasalubong’ packs; 20 percent discount on individual chocolate items; 10 percent discount on snacks and biscuits; and a five percent discount on chips.

The DFP will also give a special gift pack for customers “who will accumulate US$1,000 worth of purchase within one year or members who shop during his/her birthday.”

The Chocolate VIP membership card is honored at the Duty-Free Fiestamall, Luxe Duty-Free, international airports of Davao, Bacolod, Clark, Iloilo, and arrival areas of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminals 1, 2, and 3.

The DFP said that the membership card has no expiration and renewal will no longer be required.

The DFP said that the new reward program is part of its commitment to “giving customers great value.”

“This is our way of thanking our customers as confectionery has been the highest selling category at all DFP stores for than three decades now,” the agency said.
