Over 200,000 multi-skill job vacancies for local and overseas deployment will be available during the simultaneous nationwide job and business fair on Labor Day.
Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III encouraged jobseekers to take advantage of the thousands of available jobs being offered by participating employers in the 31 Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan job and business fair.
The Bureau of Local Employment said top vacancies for local jobs are customer service representatives, production machine operators, carpenters, security guards, call center agents, microfinance officers, and factory workers, among others.
For overseas deployment, top job openings include nurses, factory workers, cleaners, technicians, bakers, nursing aides, food servers, auto repair personnel, service crew, and bartenders.
Most of the job vacancies are in New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Taiwan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Poland, and Australia.
Bello advised jobseekers to bring the following requirements: multiple copies of resume, 2 x 2 ID photo, photocopy of training certificates, PRC license (if applicable), certificate of employment for those who were previously employed, and diploma.
