A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck Bataan at 2:02 am Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The earthquake was tectonic in origin and its epicenter traced eight kilometers northwest of Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The quake had a depth of six km, with the following registered intensities:
Phivolcs also said the quake was felt under the following instrumental intensities:
San Ildefonso, Bulacan
No aftershocks or damages are expected from the tremor.
