The whole country will have warm and humid weather condition during the observance of the Holy Week.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the easterlies will be the dominating weather system that will affect the entire archipelago.
This Wednesday, the whole country will have warm and humid weather condition apart from scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon particularly over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales.
On Maundy Thursday until Easter Sunday, April 18 to 21, mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao due to the easterlies.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said the rest of the country will have warm and humid weather condition apart from passing isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Warm weather will persist in most parts of the country throughout the week, with the maximum heat index in Metro Manila ranging from 37.3 to 38.6 degrees Celsius until Saturday.
It will also be hot in Cagayan Valley with maximum heat index between 36.3 and 38.9 degrees Celsius for the next four days.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said light to moderate winds will be coming from the east and southeast, causing slight to moderate coastal waters.
