To help connect Filipino students to undergraduate and postgraduate study abroad opportunities, Edukasyon will be hosting its first international education fair for the year 2019 this April.
Edukasyon, the leading education technology startup in the Philippines, will be holding the first leg of Wanderfest 2019 at the University of the Philippines Diliman Engineering Lobby in Quezon City on April 5, Friday, while the second leg will be held at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City on April 6, Saturday, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Students, teachers, and other young professionals will be able to meet and inquire with higher education institutions that offer a variety of programs, courses and scholarship opportunities.
Edukasyon partner schools from Australia, New Zealand and Asia, including Hult International Business School, Chisholm Institute and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, are slated to exhibit at the fair.
“We believe Filipino students should have access to higher education opportunities locally and abroad, so they can explore the right fit and make informed choices about their future,” said Edukasyon CEO & Founder Henry Motte-Muñoz. “We are excited to be bringing back Wanderfest this year, to help build connections between students and our partner institutions from countries across the globe,” he added.
Aside from booths of partner schools, Wanderfest will also feature talks from study abroad experts. Speakers include Anton Siddayao, an education counselor of UKEAS Philippines, Patricia Matias, a former Hong Kong Baptist University Business Communications Teacher, and Ampara Adelina C. Umali III, PhD, a professor of the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Edukasyon operates Edukasyon.ph, a one-stop online platform that offers students tools, resources and content for free. By partnering with hundreds of local and foreign institutions – schools, foundations and corporations – Edukasyon ensures access to opportunities, guidance and solutions that enhance the education to employment journey.
