MMDA enforces ‘stop-and-go’ traffic scheme for Gray parade

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will enforce stop-and-go scheme on areas affected by the homecoming parade for Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray on Feb. 21.

Over 200 MMDA traffic enforcers will be dispatched on the route of the parade.

MMDA said that they will clear the route of illegally parked vehicles and obstructions ahead of the parade.

The parade will start at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in Pasay City at 2 p.m. and pass through streets of Pasay, Manila, and Makati City.

From the Sofitel, the motorcade will turn left to Atang dela Rama Street then turn right to Vicente Sotto Street. It will then turn left to Magdalena Jalandoni Street, turn right again to Bukaneg Street, turn left to Roxas Boulevard (northbound lane), turn right to Kalaw Avenue, turn right to Taft Avenue, turn left to Buendia Avenue, turn right to Ayala Avenue and it will end in front of Rustan’s Ayala Avenue in Makati City.

Affected thoroughfares will be  J.W. Diokno Blvd., Atang dela Rama St.,  Vicente Sotto St., Roxas Blvd., T.M. Kalaw St., Taft Ave., Gil Puyat Ave. (formerly Buendia), and Ayala Ave. (with a report from Erma Edera)
