After his stint at the 2nd ID, he was finally assigned at the Kaugnay Division, on August 2017 where he was initially designated as the ADC.

During his speech, Agustin emphasized that all of the sectors of society should play their roles to counter the insurgency problem of the country.

Agustin also said that he will do his best effort to continue the good leadership Santos have shown as well as the accomplishments that the 7th ID have achieved during his time.
Agustin conveyed that while the mission should be the primary concern, the welfare of the troops should not be jeopardized.

Santos, meanwhile, extended his gratitude to all men and women of the 7th ID. He also specifically mentioned all the stakeholders who have been very supportive to the Kaugnay Division.

The turnover ceremony was highlighted with the distribution of red roses to all ladies who are present during the ceremony as a simple celebration of Valentine’s Day.
