According to Magdaluyo, they are looking at members of a notorious group from Aroma in Tondo district as persons of interest.

“Isang grupo ito ng criminal gang involved sa pagpatay, hired killers, pagbenta ng illegal drugs (It is a criminal gang involved in killing, hired killers, and the sale of illegal drugs),” he told the Manila Bulletin.

Authorities are hunting down the suspects. Magdaluyo said results will be released “in a week’s time.”

Last Feb. 1, a black and red backpack was discovered by a scavenger under a footbridge at the corner of R10 and Capulong Streets containing a rifle grenade and an MK2 fragmentation hand grenade.
