“Jaile Zhang was released from the custodial facility of Mandaluyong City Police at around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday after paying the recommended bail of P12,000,” Senior Supt. Moises Villaceran, Mandaluyong City Police chief told the Manila Bulletin.

“She is accompanied by her lawyer,” Villaceran added.

Police said that Zhang, 23, was arrested after she threw a cup of taho to PO1 William Cristobal at MRT-3 Boni Station around 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Prior to her arrest, police said that the fashion design student got mad when she was asked by the security guard to consume her beverage before entering the station.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Mandaluyong City Prosecutors’ Office recommended that Zhang be indicted with direct assault of an agent in authority under Article 148 of the Revised Penal Code.
