As the saying goes, “Christmas is for the children.”

And so, the Manila Police District (MPD) made a number of street children as well as homeless people in the capital city happy by feeding and giving them gifts a few days before Christmas.

Almost 300 children without homes and other beneficiaries enjoyed meals from a famous fast-food restaurant during the MPD outreach program at the Children’s Playground in Rizal Park, Manila last December 17.

The kids and other beneficiaries enjoyed their meal from a famous fast-food restaurant. They also participated in the games and received loot bags and rubber shoes.

Meanwhile, the MPD Band hosted the music and entertainment.

The event was graced by MPD chief Vicente Danao, Jr. together with Penelope Belmonte, Executive Director of the National Parks and Development Committee (NPDC).
