Dinalupihan holds 13-day Christmas party

DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – This town recently held “Paskong Dinalupiheño,” a 13 -long day Christmas party that was attended by various sectoral groups, including Aetas, in the town.

Mayor Gila Garcia, Vice mayor Rey Matawaran, and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan led the Christmas party that started December 5.

In honor of the senior citizens, the town set December 5, 6 and 7, as a day that’s exclusive to them, giving the older residents ample time to celebrate with the town’s local leaders.

December 10 was a day reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), while December 11 and 12, were days for the members of the KALIPI.

December 13 was a day of celebration for the members of ERPAT.

Mayor Garcia said that on December 14, members of the Veterans were hosted at the Executive Hall, followed by KABALIKAT members held at the Civic center.

On December 16, members of the Barangay Health Workers and Tanod were also treated by the local officials at Civic Center while members of the FGPTA held their Christmas party at the Bulwagan in the afternoon.

In the morning of December 17, Mayor Garcia and the members of the council also hosted a party for the Indigenous People who came in full force with their families from barangays Payangan (29 families), Tubo (61 families), and Bayan-bayanan with 83 families.

The party, called IP’s general assembly, was one of the most exciting events as some of the Aeta participated and performed.

This was followed by another party for members of the DPSTEA held at the Civic Center in the afternoon.

On December 18, Mayor Garcia and the SB members hosted another party for the leaders of the Sangguniang Kabataan, and another in the afternoon for barangay officials. Also on December 18, members of DAPSA were also treated to a party held at Bulwagan in the morning while farmers were feted in the afternoon at Civic center.
