Seven major road sections in the metropolis will undergo repair over the weekend, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said Friday.
The weekend road rehabilitation works will cover the areas at Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) southbound direction from Scout Albano to after Scout Borromeo, third lane from the sidewalk; and at the northbound direction from before Times Street going to before United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP), first lane, the department said following a clearance from Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
Other roads that will undergo repair include the southbound directions of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) from after Lanuza Avenue, and from near SM Aura, second outermost lane; and at the northbound directions of Batasan Road from Sinagtala Street to Litex Road, fifth lane; España Boulevard going to Cubao, from in front of Ramon Magsaysay High School; and Mindanao Avenue from after Tandang Sora Avenue Truck Lane in Quezon City.
According to the DPWH, the roadworks will start at 11 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2018.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes due to expected traffic build-up on affected areas.
