A handwritten bomb threat posted on the girls’ comfort room temporarily delayed classes in Quezon City Science High School Friday morning, but police found nothing.
Police report showed that at around 7 a.m., one of the students saw a letter posted on the women’s comfort room saying that a bomb will blast inside the school premises.
This prompted her to report to the school officials who sought assistance of the Quezon City Police District.
Students evacuated their classrooms and stayed at the school grounds while members of QCPD Bomb Squad searched the area for possible explosives.
After an hour of thorough search in the premises, no explosives were found and police said the building was safe.
The students returned to their classrooms and classes were continued.
