The Philippine passport ranked 75th in the latest world’s most powerful passport list according to a global ranking body.
The 2018 Henley Passport Index showed that the Philippine passport has visa-free access to only 66 destinations.
The Philippines shared the same spot with Azerbaijan, Dominican Republic, and Tunisia.
Meanwhile, Japan has the world’s strongest passport with visa-free/visa-on-arrival access to 190 countries.
Singapore ranked 2nd whose citizens have visa-free access to 189 destinations.
Ranking 3rd were passports from Germany, France, and South Korea.
Meanwhile, Iraq and Afghanistan ranked as the least powerful passports at the 106th spot with visa-free access to only 30 countries.
According to its website, the Henley Passport Index is a “ranking of all the passports of the world according to the number of countries their holders can travel to visa-free”.
