As part of the supposed oust Duterte plot, “Red October,” the military revealed on Monday that it has decoded the communists’ operational codes as they prepare to launch a “nationwide coordinated tactical offensive” between October 11 and October 17.

Speaking to reporters, Brig. Gen. Antonio Parlade, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) assistant deputy chief for operations, said the alleged plot which involves a nationwide coordinated tactical offensive this month, was discovered through documents seized by the military from the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA).

Parlade said this was part of the original plan for Red October.

“Iyung Koda nila na na-decode (Their Koda that was decoded) are nationwide coordinated…TO or tactical offensive this October 11-17, 2018,” Parlade said. “Matagal ng plano (ito) pero bigo (sila) dahil sa (They have long planned this but ithey failed because of the) aggressive operation of the AFP and PNP (Philippine National Police),” he added.

Parlade said based on the decoded information from the documents obtained from the CPP-NPA, “Supermarket” is the targeting of PNP stations and AFP detachments to amass firearms; “Casino” is sparrow operations targeting military assets and intelligence; “Bulldozer” is about attacking mining corporations, burning of high impact government projects, and other terrorist acts; and “Tabasco” is targeting suspected Tokhang agents/EJK (extra-judicial killings) suspects.

Meanwhile, Parlade also mentioned “Hades,” which targets personalities in government who has “may utang na dugo sa kilusan (debts to pay to the communist movement)” during the time of former President and current House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo up to the present.

Parlade said “Supermarket”, “Casino”, “Bulldozer”, “Tabasco” and “Hades” are contained in a memorandum of the CPP-NPA’s National Operations Command (NOC).

He said they are revealing this information so that authorities and the public are made aware of the communist plot to launch nationwide offensives.

“We hope these attacks don’t happen, just to prove that indeed these CPP plots exist. The best way is to preempt them with the help of the communities helping to watch the NPAs every move,” Parlade said.
