The FDA said the public should not purchase the products which did not undergo the registration process.

The products were identified as Prostate Gland Pills (Specific Kai Kit Pills), Sinlanil Capsules, Biovic Kids Probiotic with Fulvic Acid Food Supplements, Naturopathica Fatblaster Fatmagnet Fat Absorber, Naturopathica Fatblaster Garcinia Max, and Top C+ Calcium Ascorbate with Rosehips and Acerola Extract+Moringa.

“The public is advised not to purchase the aforementioned violative products,” the FDA said.

“FDA postmarketing surveillance (PMS) activities have verified that the abovementioned food supplements have not gone through the registration process of the agency and have not been issued the proper authorization in the form of Certificate of Product Registration,” it added.

The agency said that since the products have not gone through evaluation and testing process, the FDA cannot guarantee their quality and safety.

“The consumption of such violative products may pose potential health hazard to the consuming public,” it said.

The agency warned establishments not to distribute the said food supplements until they have already been covered by appropriate authorization.

“Otherwise, regulatory actions and sanctions shall be strictly pursued,” the FDA said.

The agency also asked the local government units and law enforcement agencies to ensure that the food supplements are not sold or made available in their areas of jurisdiction.
