CAMP FLORENDO, La Union — After the resounding relief of 13 chiefs of police (COPs) in the provinces of La Union, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur, six more COPs in Pangasinan were axed for failing the monthly Chief of Police Performance Evaluation Rating (COPPER).
Chief Superintendent Romulo E. Sapitula, regional director, confirmed Friday the relief from their posts of the chiefs of the municipal police stations (MPS) of Aguilar, Asingan, Balungao, San Manuel, Sison, and Sta. Maria.
“To make sure that the entire organization is working well starts with the placement of competitive and dynamic leaders that will spearhead the organization,” Sapitula said over the latest axing of COPs.
