12,000 jobs at Build, Build, Build caravan

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III is inviting jobseekers, particularly workers who have returned from overseas employment, and graduating students to take advantage of the thousands of job opportunities that will be offered in the Job Caravan for the Duterte Administration’s “Build Build Build” program.

Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre Bello III

The Department of Labor and Employment revealed that almost 12,000 job vacancies will be made available to job seekers at the Job Caravan to be held this Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Among the jobs set to be offered are in the fields of construction, architecture, and engineering.

Other vacancies are in the following fields/sectors: Clerical & administrative, accounting & finance, computer & IT, human resources, communications & public relations, legal, sales & marketing, management & operations, research & development, customer service, security, hospitality, medical & healthcare, procurement & supply chain, education & training, production & quality, property & asset management and creatives & design.

These vacancies are posted at the Build Build Build Job Portal of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

DOLE reminded job seekers to bring copies of their resume’, 2 x 2 ID photos, photocopy of training certificates (if applicable), previous certificate of employment (if applicable), transcript of records, diploma, PRC license for professional positions, authenticated birth certificate and NBI clearance.

Bureau of Local Employment Director Dominique Rubia-Tutay said that satellite on-site service booths of SSS and other agencies like the Bureau of Internal Revenue (for Tax Identification Number); National Bureau of Investigation (for NBI clearance); Pag-Ibig (for Pag-ibig ID); National Statistics Office (for Authenticated Birth Certificate), are also available to job seekers who have yet to secure such requirements.

The job caravan will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
