CAMP COLONEL RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – After more than 3 years in hiding, an alleged wanted in Bohol province was arrested Wednesday in Butuan City, police reported Thursday.
A flash report received by the command and tactical operation center of Northeastern Mindanao Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13) from Butuan City Police Office (BCPO) stated that suspect Tirson A. Cachapero, 47 of Guinacot, Guindulman, Bohol was arrested by the joint police force of BCPO, in coordination with Guindulman Municipal Police Station (MPS) at 11:35 a.m. at Purok 1, Barangay Doongan, this city.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the alleged crime of Section 5 (B), Article lll of R.A No. 7610 (4 counts) with criminal case number 2076-2079 issued by Judge Dionisio R. Calibo, Jr. of Regional Trial Court Branch 50 Loay, Bohol, dated June 6, 2016, with P200,000 each bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
The suspect, who did not resist arrest, was completely surprised when apprehending police force arrived in the targeted area, a police report said.
The suspect is temporarily under the apprehending police unit while preparation of legal documentation is still in progress, the PRO 13 Regional Public Information Office said.
