Man suspected as police asset gunned down by man involved in illegal drugs

A man who was suspected as a police tipster was shot dead by a gunman who was believed to be a drug peddler in Quezon City, last night.

Investigators of the Quezon City Police District identified the man as Roderick Torrecampo, known as “Toto,” 49, and a resident of Barangay Pasong Tamo, Quezon City.

According to a witness, he was playing billiards along Area 9B, Luzon Avenue in Barangay Pasong Tamo around 7 p.m.

While playing, he saw a man, whom he said was involved in illegal drug activities in their area, holding a handgun and approaching Torrecampo sitting in front of the billiard hall.
