Another 100 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from Kuwait arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 Friday night.
They were among the OFWs who availed themselves of the amnesty a few days before the April 22, 2018 deadline under the Kuwaiti government. The amnesty program is offered to all undocumented foreign nationals staying in Kuwait.
They were welcomed by representatives from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWWA) and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). A medical team from the Manila International Airport Authority stands ready to provide medical assistance.
