Fil-Am Ballerina in Ayala Foundation show

Raffles and Fairmont Makati Managing Director David Batchelor (left) and Hotel Manager Matthieu Busschaert (right) welcome Stella Abrera (center), a ballerina with Filipino roots and first Filipino-American woman to be appointed as American Ballet Theater’s principal dancer, together with ABT’s top dancers. Joining them are (standing from left) Isabella Boylston, Roman Zhurbin, Committee Chair for the Benefit Performance Sofia Zobel Elizalde, Ballet Master Sascha Radetsky, Arron Scott, Jose Sebastian, JooWon Ahn, Blaine Hoven, Ayala Foundation Senior Director for Programs Joanna Duarte and, (kneeling) Catherine Hurlin and Gillian Murphy. The Filipino-American ballet stars and Ayala Foundation have come together for a special show that will celebrate 20 years of CENTEX (Center of Excellence in Public Education) and benefit its programs.
