President Duterte is preparing for another round of foreign trips after spending the Holy Week in his home city of Davao.
The President is expected to attend the annual Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan, China in April, then possibly visit Hong Kong. He may also attend the Association Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit in Singapore later next month.
“He will be in Davao. The President will be in Davao during the Holy Week. He will have a few trips after the Holy Week],” Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said during a Palace press briefing.
Asked about the President’s birthday plans, Roque said Duterte was also expected to stay at home. Duterte will turn 73 on March 28.
You know, the President usually stays at home during his birthday but there might be a celebration after his birthday,” Roque said.
