Imus City, Cavite — Officials identified yesterday the two cities and seven municipalities in Cavite province with dengue outbreak.
The areas with confirmed outbreak as per report of the Provincial Health Office (PHO) are Trece Martires City (in 6th District) and Cavite City (1st District) and the municipalities of Tanza (6th District), Rosario (also called Salinas) and Noveleta (1st District) and upland Naic, Mendez-Nunez, Indang and General Emilio Aguinaldo (also called Bailen), all in 7th District.
Governor Jesus Crispin C.Remulla had confirmed the outbreak areas after the PHO and the Provincial Epidemiology Surveillance Unit (PESU) had rendered its report on the latest dengue situation in the area.
“Yes (it is confirmed). They (the provincial health officials) have the details as they are directly monitoring,” Remulla told this reporter yesterday.
