Operatives of the Joint Task Force ZamPeLan and the police served the arrest warrant against Roger Sagarino in Barangay Raw-an, Lala, Lanao del Norte at 11:45 a.m. Thursday.

Tagged in robbery cases, Raw-an is a notorious LLE member and gun for hire who uses and peddles illegal drugs.

He and his brother, Charly Sagarino Sr., are associated with the “Kuratong Baleleng” Gang of Ozamiz City.

His brother is currently detained at the Municipal Jail of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

Brig. Gen. Roseller Murillo, commander of the Joint Task Force ZamPeLan, said that Raw-an is associated with the Labang group, particularly Mariano Labang, who was slain in a police operation; Tatong Labang, who is at large for being the principal suspect in the killing of Barangay Lipawan Kagawad Edgar Paculaba; and Boboy Labang, who is also at large after being impleaded in cases of killings.

Raw-an was subsequently brought to Lala Municipal Police Station for documentation.

In a joint operation, Rolly Ali and Jomar Ali were arrested by government forces in Barangay Crossing Simuay, Sultan Kudarat at 8:20 p.m. of February 28.

Seized from them were 14 sachets of suspect shabu that are currently in the custody of Sultan Kudarat Municipal Police Station.

Said operation was launched by the 603rd Brigade of the Joint Task Force Central, the Sultan Kudarat Municipal Police Station, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao to implement a preoperation against suspected drug personalities in the area.

Rolly Ali, 28, is a resident of Barangay Crossing Simuay, while Jomar Ali, 19, is a resident of Barangay Darapanan, both in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.

The arrested persons were also brought to Sultan Kudarat MPS for legal procedures.

“Law enforcement support operations will continuously be launched to support the nationwide campaign of the government against lawless violence and illegal drug activities in the joint area of operations,” said Lt. Gen. Carlito G. Galvez, Jr., commander of the Western Mindanao Command.

“I would like to commend our Joint Task Forces for these accomplishments,”

Galvez added.
