Batangas City, Batangas — The Transportation Development Regulatory Office (TDRO) has announced a traffic rerouting scheme to give way to the civic military parade on Tuesday, in celebration of the city fiesta which begins at 6 a.m.

Passenger jeeps plying the route from Mabini, Lemery, Bauan, Caltex, and Banaba will be forced to turn right to Bolbok Diversion Road and take DJPMM Access Road; then turn right to Rizal Avenue going to Batangas Pier; then take the PPA Diversion Road going back to Bolbok.

All roads from Lawas to P. Burgos Street will be temporarily closed.

The Alangilan-Balagtas passenger jeepneys from its pick-up point at the Grand Terminal going to Capitolio to Arce Subdivision will turn left to BIR Road; turn right to P. Herrera Street; turn right again to Noble Street and straight to P. Burgos Street; then go up to Kumintang National Highway going back to Alangilan and Balagtas.

Calumpang Bridge will be closed, thus, all passenger jeepneys and tricycles from the east and south areas of Batangas City will end its route at SM City.

The Batangas Pier jeepneys going to Cuta West to M.H. Del Pilar St. will pass through Barangay 19; then turn right to Pastor Road going to New Market and Coliseum; then turn left to Arrieta Street; and left again to Rizal Avenue going back to the pier.
